Job Description

Our store managers have an exceptional ability to lead by example, to engage their teams to be fully committed to creating an amazing customer experience. No two days are the same so we hope you're the type of person who can't wait to get into work each morning. 

What does an Early Settler Store Manager do?

  • Proactively and attentively takes ownership of overall store performance
  • Drives sales, profit, controls costs to ensure the achievement of KPI’s
  • Ensures a customer centric culture, resulting in a warm, helpful, and genuine customer experience
  • Provides inspirational leadership and training to develop their team to deliver outstanding results
  • Focuses on commercial results and ensures their team have a clear understanding of store performance
  • Be a product knowledge expert
  • Adheres to all company behaviours, policies, and procedures
  • Ensures a clean, tidy, and safe work environment (including OH&S)

Desired Skills and Experience

What do you bring to Early Settler?

  • 5+years retail management experience
  • You are driven and passionate about making a difference with your customers
  • A reputation for your outstanding customer focus, relationship building skills and ability to deliver results
  • Proven experience leading and coaching teams
  • Ability to manage budgets, drive KPI’s, ensure compliance, interpret/create reporting, and generate efficient rosters
  • Exceptional organisational abilities and delegation skills
  • Honesty, integrity, and open communication
  • A strong work ethic, commitment to adding value and ability to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • You will be physically fit, injury free and able to move furniture
