What is the Role?
We are looking for a passionate, dynamic Store Manager to join our Wellington store and take charge working on a full-time, 40 hours per week Sunday - Thursday roster.

The role of a Store Manager at Early Settler:
Proactively and attentively takes ownership of overall store performance
Drives sales, profit, controls costs to ensure the achievement of KPI’s
Ensures a customer centric culture, resulting in a warm, helpful, and genuine customer experience
Provides inspirational leadership and training to develop their team to deliver outstanding results
Focuses on commercial results and ensures their team have a clear understanding of store performance

Adheres to all company behaviours, policies, and procedures

Desired Skills and Experience
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who can bring:
5+ years retail management experience
A proven track-record in sales
A can-do, go-getter attitude
The hunger to be the best - and make the store best too!
Ability to manage budgets, drive KPI’s, ensure compliance, interpret/create reporting, and generate efficient and compliant rosters
A work ethic that is uncompromised, commitment to adding value and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
As we are a furniture business, it is imperative that you are physically fit and able to move furniture
