Job Description

What is the role?

We’re looking for a passionate Store Support Leader to join our store in this rare exciting opportunity!

This is your chance to leverage and grow your leadership skills while making a real difference every day.

You’ll step in when the Store Manager is away, support the Assistant Store Manager and play a vital part in keeping our store team, customers and store running at their best. In this hands-on role, you’ll take charge of daily leadership, coaching, and customer experience. You’ll help drive KPIs, lead initiatives, and ensure our store is welcoming, safe, and visually inspiring.

Key Responsibilities 
Leadership & People
•    Provide day-to-day leadership on the shop floor, ensuring the team feels supported and motivated.
•    Coach, mentor, and guide team members to deliver store KPIS including sales and great customer experiences.
•    Partner with Store Leadership team to balance operational needs with team development.
•    Act as a role model for our company values, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.

Customer & Sales
•    Assist in leading and drive initiatives to achieve sales and service targets.
•    Assist in leading the team to deliver outstanding customer service and resolve escalated customer issues.
•    Drive customer engagement and ensure the store consistently meets service standards.
•    Ensure the store environment is welcoming, safe, and visually appealing.

Coordination & Support
•    Act as the go-to leader when the Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager is not present, ensuring continuity.
•    Coordinate with the Store Leadership Team to align daily priorities and team schedules.
•    Provide feedback and updates to Store Leadership Team and Regional Manager as required on performance and people matters.
•    Support with promotional launches, campaigns, and key business initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience

You’ll bring:

  • 3–5 years’ retail leadership experience in a similar role (store, assistant, or department manager).
  • A proven ability to coach, inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Agility to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, balancing multiple priorities with ease.
  • A strong sense of urgency and a drive to achieve and exceed results.
  • Confidence managing relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • A track record of delivering sales, service and operational success in retail.
  • A genuine interest in home-styling, furniture or creating welcoming living spaces is a plus!

  • As we are a furniture store, we need someone who can undertake lifting and work in a physical environment.

* Roster - Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
