Job Description
What is the Role?
We are seeking a hands-on and organised Studio Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our photography studio.
This role is responsible for coordinating products for photoshoots, managing stock movement between the warehouse and studio, and assisting with the physical setup of photography sets. You’ll play a key role in ensuring everything is prepared, organised and ready for shoot days.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of logistics, organisation and creative studio work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations & Product Coordination
Coordinate products required for upcoming photoshoots
Order, track and manage stock movement between warehouse and studio
Prepare, assemble and ensure products are shoot-ready
Maintain accurate product tracking using Excel
Ensure all items are handled, labelled and returned correctly
Photoshoot Preparation & Support
Assist with setup and pack down of photography sets
Assemble furniture and move products within the studio
Support photographers, stylists and creative teams
Assist casual staff with preparation and setup tasks
Warehouse & Inventory Coordination
Work closely with warehouse teams to coordinate stock
Assist with picking and movement of large items
Operate forklift (or willingness to obtain licence)
Planning & Studio Efficiency
Monitor shoot schedules and prepare products in advance
Maintain trackers for product movement and shoot planning
Identify opportunities to improve workflow and organisation
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is organised, hands-on and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you will bring:
Experience in a studio, warehouse, retail or logistics role
Strong organisational and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Confidence working with large products (furniture/homewares)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
